The pier was a highlight. We couldn’t resist the Bournemouth Pier Zipline—zipping over the waves with the wind in our hair was exhilarating! Theo, ever the thrill-seeker, went twice, while Ava cheered from below, snapping photos. The arcade games were a nostalgic treat; we laughed our way through a claw machine, winning a tiny plush seagull we named Percy.

We strolled along the promenade, soaking in the lively vibe. Street performers strummed guitars, and the scent of fresh doughnuts wafted from nearby stalls. The beach’s gentle waves were perfect for a paddle, though the water was chilly—Theo braved a quick dip, emerging with a grin and goosebumps!

No beach day is complete without fish and chips, so we headed to Harry Ramsden’s. The crispy cod and chunky chips, doused in vinegar, were perfection. We ate on a bench overlooking the sea, fending off curious seagulls. For dessert, we grabbed ice creams from a vendor—salted caramel for Ava, classic vanilla for Theo. The nearby Boscombe Pier was a short walk away, where we sipped coffee at a cute café, watching surfers ride the waves.
